A clean environment, void of personal items, is paramount to showcase a listing.

We highly recommend following the guidelines we have outlined on this page:
How to Prepare for a Shoot

Our drone photographer, Mike, is FAA Licensed & Insured to fly SUAS / drones.

It is illegal to fly for commercial purposes without a Drone Pilot License.

No license = No insurance!

Don’t be fooled – Business liability insurance does not cover drones!

In addition to business liability, our professional drone pilot has a $1,000,000 aviation insurance policy with the leading provider of aircraft insurance.

_______________

Danger!!!

Drones are classified as SUAS under FAA guidelines, also known as a small unmanned aerial system. They are considered vehicles and as such, can also succumb to the same dangers, such as mechanical failure and unforeseen accidents.

Lost Connection!!!

One of the common risks associated with drones is dropping GPS signal. Much like losing power steering, drones can lose autonomous stability, putting 100% of the control in the hands of the Drone Pilot.

This is common in places near radio towers, overhead transmission lines, and driveways that contain underground power distribution. These areas often cause drones to drift from their autonomous ability, making it critical to maintain awareness at all times.

Safety First!!!

Hiring an unlicensed, amateur Pilot could leave you or your company exposed to liability in the event of an accident.

Knowing proper safety procedures and how to mitigate dangerous scenarios is a trait everyone should look for when considering hiring a professional aerial videographer or photographer.

HDR Photography stands for High Dynamic Range. It is a method of photography in which the photographer captures between 3-5 photographs in varying exposures to capture the most light possible, and merges them all together in post-production. The result is one photo that contains all the color and detail information possible!

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, average shoot time is as follows:

Videography including drone video is 2-4 hours on location*.

Photography is 1-3 hours on location*.

*Property must be in show-ready condition at the time of arrival for smooth operation

Depending on the project, normal turnaround time is within 72 hrs.
*For Real Estate photography only, we offer 24 hour service for an additional fee.

Completion of video depends on duration of recorded footage. After shoot is complete, we must log all the footage before editing can begin. Average turnaround for a Real Estate video is 7 days after the final shoot date, sometimes quicker. Business promotion and event videos will vary depending on the extent of the project.

Due to the bandwidth constraints of most internet users, we upload most of our videos in 2K to reduce load time and still maintain HD quality.

The average duration of our videos is between 1-3 minutes. According to Youtube Analytics, user engagement typically drops off at the 3 minute mark so we try to keep our edits down to an average of 2 minutes for best results.
